At LMH Engineering Ltd. our commitment is to maximise safety within our company. LMH Engineering Ltd. promote a safety not complacency ethos at work on a daily basis. Everyone at management level is expected to make safety awareness for all personnel an absolute priority within our organisation.

On site LMH will:

  • Co-ordinate the implementation of the construction regulations to all staff and sub contractors where and when required.
  • Co-ordinate the implementation of the company robust Safety Management System.
  • Organise co-operation between contractors and the provision of information.
  • Co-ordinate the reporting of accidents to all relevant parties.
  • Provide information to the site safety representative.
  • Co-ordinate the checking of safe working procedures.
  • Co-ordinate arrangements to ensure that all staff have a Safety Awareness card, e.g. Safe Pass and a
  • Construction Skills card where required.
  • Monitor the compliance of all staff, contractors and others and take corrective action where necessary.

Yellow Jacket

LMH Engineering Ltd. monitors all  projects associated with site installation with a safety platform called BRE Yellow Jacket. This system is promoted by LMH Engineering Ltd. and is connected to all operatives by the use of mobile phones and apps where operatives collaborate with management and vice versa. All personnel on site may log observations and give it a time period that the observation has to be actioned by. On this software all site documentation is uploaded, i.e. GA1,2,3 checklists and also any tool boxes to be taken on site and environmental documentation. This allows LMH Engineering Ltd. management to monitor progress on site to ensure that it is being carried out in a safe manner.

LMH is registered with the Safe T Cert Program.

BIM Field is used as our safety platform.

LMH Engineering Ltd. supports the aims and provisions of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005, the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007/2016 – S.I. 299, the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations – S.I. 504 of 2006 (as amended by S.I. 130 of 2008, S.I. 423 of 2008 and S.I. 523 of 2010 and hereafter referred to as the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013) and all other relevant legislation which pertains to our company.  LMH recognise that one of our foremost duties is to provide, as far as reasonably practical, our employees with a safe and healthy work environment.  LMH also recognise our duties to visitors, contractors, members of the public and any other persons who may be affected by our Company’s activities.

LMH will fully strive to ensure that our works are carried out under our legal register.

LMH Engineering Ltd. safety commitment

In order to manage the works LMH Engineering Ltd. will fulfil its statutory obligations under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013, and will ensure the General Principles as laid down in schedule 3 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, are used in the evaluation of risks. Also LMH Engineering Ltd. operates a robust Safety Management System that ensures the highest Safety Standards and compliance with legislation on all our projects.  LMH are registered with Safe T Cert and currently awaiting a Safe T Cert Audit for certification.

LMH Engineering Ltd. has the required experience to carry out their duties under the Construction Regulations 2007. Senior staff within LMH Engineering Ltd. has been fully trained to carry out their supervisory roles and has attended and passed IOSH Managing Safety in Construction Course, CIF Site Supervisor Training.

Regular audits of the Physical Conditions and the Safety Management System are carried out to ensure that LMH Engineering Ltd. is compliant with all legislation and is of the highest safety standards. These audits ensure that the role of the Health and Safety is being completed adequately and in a professional manner.

The Safety Management System ensures the highest Safety Standards by implementing its Safety Policy and hence compliance with the relevant Statutory provisions.
